Wow, there is a lot of bad news floating around out there lately, have you noticed? I didn’t come from a very optimistic family, so I actually put a fair amount of effort into focusing on good things. But lately, it seems hard. Seriously—the economy is bad, I keep hearing about people’s serious illnesses, and gas keeps going up. Plus, people keep dying. I know, they always do, but somehow lately it seems like they are more than usual. Yikes! People—keep yourselves healthy! I worry!
Perhaps that is why I’ve become more dedicated to sniffing out that which is absurd and funny—because we need it more than ever, right?
With that, I would like to throw this question out there—why is Britney Spears getting mentorship and career advice from Mel Gibson? Like, does the Spears family not read the news? This is Mel Gibson, dude—the Mel Gibson that got caught drunk driving, then called the arresting officer “Sugar Tits.” I’m just saying if I were going to pick a life inspiration for Little Girl Lost, I’m not sure I’d look to Mel “Passion of the Christ” Gibson, because he seems like he’s holding his own stuff together, and that’s about it. Oh, ok—maybe he just relapsed, and it’s no big deal, and now he’s teaching Britney what he learned. But, I’m just saying that maybe a therapist, or some other positive role model is in order.
Oh, and also? We took a picture of this hilarious sign the other day. I like that it’s informative, and courteous—all at once. Thank you!
i would say the two items are related somehow--world going to hell in a handbasket, so we turn to unlikely saviors, aka mel gibson?
